After reading SCREW, I was able to get a CO’s perspective on the difficulties in bringing real change to our prison systems.
What I found interesting in Mike’s book, is how the difficulty and resistance came predominately from the political establishment. This was reiterated by prisoners I recently talked with at a local prison/5(5).
